When working with radio electronics and the assembly table, an antistatic wrist strap is absolutely necessary. In everyday movement, a person accumulates electricity, amplifying it with air and synthetic clothing. When touching objects or equipment, the charge is discharged - at this moment a small electric shock is felt. If this happens while working with an electronic tool, it can be permanently damaged. An anti-static wrist strap should be used on the mounting table to prevent damage to the equipment.

The fabric cuff should be wrapped tightly around the employee's arm and secured with a clip. The bracelet is wear-resistant - it withstands long-term use. The materials do not contain carbon and metal components, so the bracelet does not accumulate a charge.

The lock has a metal button and a 1 MOhm resistor that touches the skin. Close contact of the metal surface with the hand is necessary for the charge to be transmitted. The connection to the ground is made through a twisted wire, which in the unfolded state reaches 1.5 m. This allows you to save space around the specialist so that the cable does not distract from the work. At its end, a plug is fixed, which must be attached to the earthing element.
