Server cabinets
Server cabinets are an essential part of data centers and IT infrastructure, providing a safe and organized place to house servers, network equipment and other IT hardware. Depending on the installation location and application, they are divided into two main types: wall server cabinets and floor server cabinets.
Server cabinets and racks are used to administer the company's network resources, which are important for their timely maintenance and failure prevention.
- Wall-mounted server cabinets are more compact and suitable for smaller rooms or places where you need to save floor space. They mount on the wall and are usually designed for smaller equipment such as network routers, switches and smaller servers.
- Floor server cabinets are larger and designed to be placed on the floor. They are more robust and can accommodate multiple devices, making them ideal for larger data centers or server rooms. Floor cabinets are available in different heights and widths, which allows you to adjust their specifications according to specific requirements and type of hardware.
Advantages of server cabinets:
- Organize cable storage. This simplifies the visual control of communication integrity and also reduces cable wear caused by bending.
- Protection against third party access. The contents of the server cabinets are locked with locks to help control the level of access. The side and rear walls can be closed with a separate lock.
- Copper ground pins are included inside the case.
Both wall-mounted and floor-standing server cabinets are designed to ensure the security of IT equipment, efficient cooling and easy access for maintenance, making them an essential infrastructure element in any IT environment.
