5 steps to organized work space
Once again, the garage, warehouse, basement, workshop, production or utility room is messy, nothing can be found, everything is gone. You know what we're talking about. Surely you have also come across a situation where all the corners of the room are crammed with various things, which accumulate in an ever-growing pile, in which nothing can be found anymore. It is very difficult to live and work in an environment where there is a lot of disorder, and it is more and more difficult to organize it every day.
The solution is to organize!
We offer you 5 steps to thoughtfully and appropriately organize the work environment and the spaces around you:
- Sort out all the belongings in the room. Evaluate which of them are necessary and for which you no longer see use in the future. You will be surprised how many unnecessary things have been gathering dust and taking up unnecessary space over the years. If you don't see a use for the thing, but you see some value in it - donate it to someone who will use it.
- Group everything: service equipment, things for the car, tools, sports and leisure equipment, equipment for camping and hiking, holiday decorations, things for the garden, things for construction, etc.
- Create room zones and sketch out your ideal solution for room decoration.
- Arrange the room taking into account the already existing furniture and room equipment. Arrange the space so that it can adapt to changing production, storage or storage volumes and requirements. Use modular and flexible systems of shelves, work tables, cabinets and work surfaces that allow you to easily adapt to changes that may occur over time.
- Place sorted items in metal shelves, steel cabinets or work drawer units as logically as possible, adding labels to indicate the items in each compartment or shelf. Such a solution would make the location of belongings transparent and allow you to quickly find each of the things.
